Welcome
Welcome to my home page. My name is Peg Christoff and I am delighted
to share my expertise with you. In the early 1980’s, I was trained as a
scholar with a special focus on U.S.-China relations. As America’s
relationship with China has developed over the past 30 years, so, too,
has my career trajectory. I am lucky to be a mouse in a great, global,
cheese (or, tofu) factory …as an experienced
researcher,
administrator of public programs, and
teacher/lecturer in this Asian
century.
My home base, when not in cyberspace, is Rockville, Maryland, a suburb
of Washington, D.C., also known as the new Chinatown. Here I enjoy many
cultural exchanges, which include the sharing of personal stories and
journeys as well as the universal language of food.

Asia in all the Wrong Places."
